Known for its spectacular displays of sunsets, starry skies, and Northern Lights, Rainy Lake offers unforgettable experiences. Off the lake, enjoy hiking trails, picnic grounds and shore fishing areas.
The International Falls, Ranier and Rainy Lake communities are ready to serve you. Operating procedures are being revised as the crisis response evolves, and our businesses are following all procedures to protect the safety of our visitors, residents and workers.

Rainy Lake and Voyageurs National Park offer an opportunity to recreate where there's plenty of space to do so on your own. You may not encounter others at all, and if you do, you can maintain social distance with ease, in fact, around here that happens naturally.

For everyone that might contact us: The Convention and Visitors Bureau may not be available to answer your calls or emails immediately. That doesn't mean we won't answer you. If you have questions or need information we will respond as soon as we are able.

Email cvb@rainylake.org or leave a message at 218-283-9400.

Be safe - we will get through this.

MINNESOTA FAMILY VACATIONS: HOUSEBOATS, RESORTS, B&BS

All year round, Rainy Lake offers recreation. From boating, kayaking, swimming, canoeing, sailing, and fishing to snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, and snowmobiling. Spring and Fall offer fishing opportunities not usually available in Minnesota. While the ice is melting on the lake, Rainy River offers early fishing openings and a wide range of species, including the mighty sturgeon.
