Voyageurs National Park is a water-based wonderland offering endless outdoor adventure and stunning natural beauty. With over 218,000 acres of interconnected waterways, the park is perfect for canoeing, kayaking, and boating, giving visitors access to its 2000+ remote islands and shorelines. In the summer the scenic hiking trails, fishing for walleye, pike, crappie and bass.
The park offers 147 campsites spread throughout. All sites are only accessible by a water vessel. Each campsite is equipped with a picnic table, fire ring and bear-proof lockers, with some offering tent pads or houseboat docking. Voyageurs offers over 80 day-use sites, perfect for those looking to enjoy the beauty of the park without an overnight stay. No boat? No problem. Consider booking a boat tour led by a park ranger. These tours let you uncover Voyageur's hidden gems while diving into the unique ecosystem and fascinating history. Keep an eye out for loons, playful otters and soaring eagles. |
