Happy New Year! Only a couple more days before the ruffed grouse season closes!!!

Pete reported the firearm deer-hunting season closed November 21 – it was quite a productive season. Deer hunting groups have enjoyed success – along with mild temperatures and good times in the great northwoods.
If you are hunting for snowshoe rabbits – you are in luck. Our area is abundant with them. Ruffed grouse hunters…keep looking for just two more days. Birds are out there – but the hunt is a bit challenging this year and it comes to an end on December 31.
