Rainy Lake guides are U.S. Coast Guard Licensed and meet all Federal requirements to assure your safety, and of course, a good time. Guides provide fishing charters for walleye, smallmouth bass, northern pike and crappie. Outfitters can set you up with the equipment you need to camp and enjoy Rainy Lake whether you are fishing, exploring by canoe or hiking the trails.

Guide services or outfitters can make arrangements to have your fishing license and other appropriate permits available on your arrival. The guides know the patterns and can put you on the species of your choice throughout all seasons. Rainy Lake offers to longest walleye season in the State.  The border waters remain open until mid-April allowing for the latest ice fishing and earliest open water fishing possible.  Northern pike and smallmouth bass are open continuously.
