Color Run 5K for United Way

Small Game Seasons Open

September 19

There are many options for small game hunting in Koochiching County. Vast tracts of public land and several designated hunter walking trails provide access to all sorts of habitat. Rabbit and Squirrel will remain open until February of 2016. Woodcock season ends September 19, sharptail grouse closes on November 30 and Ruffed Grouse season closes January 3, 2016. Information wherever DNR licenses are sold or at DNR offices.
